Forge

Company

We build the boring parts of intelligent software

Forge exists because the hard part of automation was never the model. It was retries, permissions, versioning, evidence and the queue where uncertain work goes. We decided to make those the product.

Mission

Our mission

Give every organisation the ability to run intelligent processes with the same confidence they run their databases — versioned, permissioned, observable and reversible.

Principles

Four commitments that shape every decision

These are the rules we return to when a product argument gets stuck.

  1. 01

    Explicit beats clever

A process someone can read six months later is worth more than a compact one nobody dares to change.

  2. 02

    Uncertainty is a feature

Systems that admit what they do not know are safer than systems that always produce an answer.

  3. 03

    Evidence by default

If a decision cannot be explained afterwards, it should not have been automated in the first place.

  4. 04

    Operators are engineers

The people running the process understand it best. They deserve real tools, not a read-only view.

Team

The people behind the platform

A fictional leadership team written as demo content for this template.

  • Ada Sørensen

    Chief Executive Officer

Previously led platform engineering at a demo logistics company.

  • Rafael Iyer

    Chief Technology Officer

Spent a decade on durable execution systems before co-founding Forge.

  • Nadia Berkoff

    VP Product

Built review tooling for high-volume operations teams.

  • Julian Mbeki

    VP Engineering

Focused on runtime reliability and multi-region execution.

  • Clara Whitmore

    Head of Security

Works on the control model and customer security reviews.

  • Hugo Lindstrom

    Head of Customer Engineering

    Runs the first-workflow onboarding programme.

Timeline

How the platform got here

A short, fictional history written to give the template shape.

  1. 2019

Founded in Boston around a durable execution engine built for a single logistics customer.

  2. 2021

Opened the platform to external teams and shipped the first visual workflow builder.

  3. 2023

Added model-agnostic intelligence steps with evaluation and confidence routing.

  4. 2025

Introduced workspace-level governance: residency, retention and audit streaming.

  5. 2026

Now running demo workloads for teams across logistics, finance, health and manufacturing.

Work with us

We are hiring across engineering and customer teams

If the unglamorous parts of intelligent systems sound interesting rather than tedious, we should talk.
